sketching charleston,sc

Finally got around to post few sketches that I did in Charleston, SC. - my first trip ever to Charleston. It's quite an old but charming coastal town, full of history and cultural. I went up there to see Jason Situ's show, and got to paint with him for couple of days. It was a fun trip.

Hi Jay,
I'm inspired whenever I look at your web site. I like the composition , the brushwork, of course, the brilliant color! You must have a special software in your brain so that you view the world differently from those untrained eyes!

These are great. Real nice compositions. I just came back from Scott Christensen's workshop, and I got to see a few of your originals hanging in his house! Boy was that a treat. Keep on posting here!
