Painting Wilmington 2009

Just came back in town the past weekend from an one-week painting trip to Wilmington, NC. - a coastal town by the Atlantic ocean. Sunny and hot the first two days, rained out the rest of the week. Stayed on Figure 8 Island, painted out right on the back deck of the house...wet, chilly, grey n' gloomy sky, dark clouds, misty marshland...all the fun we could possibly have in cold rainy days!
Paintings posted here are available at Walls Gallery.

Great paintings! I like all of them. I can see the sun rising from behind the building in the painting "Early Morning Sky of November". The transition of the light is amazing.
